Yellow Stake Rule

YELLOW STAKE RULE 

 

Yellow stakes indicate a water hazard line.  All yellow stakes at Strawberry Farms, whether clearly marked or not, are considered environmentally sensitive areas.

 

You have 3 choices if your ball crosses into a yellow staked area. 

 

1. Drop the ball behind the hazard, in a straight line provided the spot at which you ball last crossed the hazard remains directly between the dropping point and the hole - one stroke penalty
2. Replay your shot - one stroke penalty
3. Play from the drop area, if one is available

 

Hole #13 and #14

The yellow staked area in front of the 14th hole only applies to that hole.  If you reach this area from hole 13, it is played as a red staked area, consistent with the rest of the right side of 13.
